Stepping into property management with more than 15 years of hands-on experience, our founder has built North Mitten Management on a deep understanding of what it means to care for homes that hold lasting value and special memories. This journey began by managing a private family compound - a home with over 27 beds across three buildings, where the details mattered and customization defined every guest experience. There, she oversaw renovations and maintenance, built a welcoming cabin right next door, and brought the Leelanau Boat Club to life as a unique gathering space for families spanning three generations. These projects allowed her to master every aspect of property care, from seasonal maintenance and vendor coordination to embracing the quirks of Northern Michigan's unpredictable weather.

This same dedication traveled with her to Hilton Head Island, a cherished vacation spot for over four decades, where she extended the business's reach and replicated signature services for new clients and their families. Along the way, our founder built not just properties, but lasting relationships - focusing always on luxury hospitality and worry-free ownership. She believes in jumping in fully, breaking down barriers, and always listening to clients' needs so each home and every guest is cared for with genuine attention.
